Jay joined Adams Keegan in May of 1997 and currently serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Sales. He was appointed to a four year term on the Employee Leasing Advisory Board by the governor of Tennessee. He is a director of The James Group, LLC and Staff Line. Jay’s civic involvement includes membership in St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Memphis Club, Director of the Navy League of Memphis, and Leadership Memphis class of 2006. Jay holds a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Bob founded Adams Keegan in 1987 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer from April 1987 to September 2000. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC), the industry's self-regulating accreditation organization and has been a member of the ESAC Board since 1998. He currently serves as Immediate Past President of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), the $63B industry’s national trade association, and has served as member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee since 2006. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of NAPEO during 1996-1997 as well as serving two terms as the President of the regional chapter. As an industry pioneer, he has been active in the development and formalization of the PEO industry. Bob is a frequent presenter at industry events and is involved in regulatory and legislative issues on state and national levels. Bob holds a B.S. degree from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
George joined the company in May of 2002 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as Controller for Adams Keegan. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a director of The James Group, LLC. Prior to joining Adams Keegan, George was a senior staff accountant at Guardsmark, Inc. He also has experience in commercial lending and credit underwriting. George holds a B.S. degree from the Washington & Lee University, Lexington, VA.
Marty has served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Adams Keegan since June 2000. Prior to joining Adams Keegan, Marty was awarded a highly competitive internship with the Tennessee Supreme Court. After completing this internship, he joined a prominent labor and employment law firm and began practicing law, primarily focusing on laws and statutes that impact the dynamic relationship between employer and employee. In this capacity, Marty was involved in advising, training, and litigating for a large range of clients, diverse not only in size but also in type of business. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with B.S. degrees in Psychology and Biology and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Memphis. He is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Memphis Bar Associations.
Gene joined the company in June of 1999 and serves as Regional President for the company's Atlanta region, which he established in August of 1999. With nearly ten years of PEO experience, he has served in a variety of management positions including operations, marketing, sales, worker's compensation underwriting and risk management. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Association of Professional Employer Organizations (GAPEO). Prior to joining Adams Keegan, Gene worked for Vincam Human Resources, Inc. where he received the President’s Club and Outstanding Achievement Awards for sales and leadership excellence. He also brings over 20 years of domestic and international property/casualty experience to the company through marketing and underwriting management positions with AIG, Fireman's Fund and CIGNA. Gene attended Widener University in Chester, PA.
