August 2025: Charitable Donation Committee selects third quarter recipients
Adams Keegan is committed to giving back to the communities that have contributed to our success. Every quarter, our Charitable Donation Committee, made up of "Employee of the Year" nominees from our TEAM Awards, chooses organizations and events that align with our values and create a significant impact in our communities. We are pleased to announce our charitable recipients for the third quarter of 2025:
RISE Memphis
RISE (Realizing. Income. Stability. Empowerment.) Memphis empowers families to build assets and make sound financial choices by providing financial literacy tools and incentives. Their 2025 Together We Rise Annual Gala on Thursday, September 11, celebrates 25 years of transforming lives and fostering financial freedom in our community. Proceeds from the gala will directly support RISE's programs, enabling them to continue their work in the Memphis community.
Memphis Child Advocacy Center
The Memphis Child Advocacy Center (CAC) envisions a community where children are safe, families are strong, and victims can heal and become children again. Their mission is to serve child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse through prevention, education, and intervention. All proceeds from their 36th Annual Gala on Thursday, September 11, will directly benefit the children served by Memphis CAC.
Shelby Literacy Center
This Shelby Literacy Center helps individuals achieve personal goals by providing literacy and life skills education. Their initiatives include adult English classes, citizenship programs, career training, community literacy, HiSET, which helps adults earn their High School Diploma, and more. Their comprehensive approach aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and abilities necessary to thrive in their personal and professional lives, ultimately strengthening the community as a whole.
V&E Greenline
The V&E Greenline is a 1.75-mile trail and natural area in Midtown Memphis's Vollintine Evergreen community. Along its natural surface, visitors can find various natural and garden areas, creeks, artwork, and a level one Arboretum. The V&E Artwalk, a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, October 11, raises funds for trail maintenance and promotes local artists and craftspeople. Adams Keegan's client, Carpenter Art Garden, will have a booth at this year's Artwalk.
Adams Keegan is honored to support these organizations as they create positive change in the lives of others.
