At Adams Keegan, we are deeply committed to supporting the communities that have helped shape our success. Each quarter, our Charitable Donation Committee, comprised of “Employee of the Year” nominees from our TEAM Awards, selects organizations and events that reflect our values and make a meaningful impact. We're proud to announce our second quarter 2025 charitable recipients:
NextOp Veterans, one of our valued clients, provides transition services to enlisted military personnel moving into the civilian workforce. Their work connects veterans with meaningful career opportunities, bridging the gap between military service and industries in need of skilled, diverse talent. This year, Adams Keegan is aiding NextOp’s participation in the Carry the Load program, an inspiring Memorial Day event that honors the sacrifices of service members through a community walk culminating in Dallas, Texas.
Founded in 2015, CodeCrew has empowered more than 15,000 students with career-shaping skills in coding, AI, and computer science. With a mission to foster excellence and resilience in a tech-driven workforce, CodeCrew continues to make a measurable impact. This year, Adams Keegan will sponsor CodeCrew’s premier fundraising event, the ExCITE Awards, which celebrates national leaders in Computation, Information, Technology, and Engineering. In 2024 alone, CodeCrew served 1,749 individuals, graduated 22 software engineers, and supported 24 after-school computer science programs.
Based in Nashville, Friends Life Community offers immersive weekday programming and individualized coaching for adults with developmental disabilities. Their work helps individuals grow personally, socially, and vocationally, enabling them to thrive as active members of society. Adams Keegan is sponsoring their annual Backyard BBQ fundraiser, with proceeds offsetting the cost of weekday programming for 10 participants, known as “Friends,” for an entire week.
West Cancer Foundation is on a mission to eliminate barriers to cancer care through early detection, patient resources, and community-based research. Adams Keegan is proud to sponsor West Fight On, the foundation’s signature fundraising event in Memphis. Now in its 13th year, the event features cycling, a 5K run/walk, and a tribute walk, and has raised $2.4 million to date, benefiting over 16,000 patients with free services and support.
A long-standing community staple, the Memphis Civitan Club focuses on fellowship, leadership development, and service, particularly for those with developmental disabilities. Adams Keegan is sponsoring their 2025 Mahjong Tournament, the organization’s flagship fundraiser. Proceeds will fund grants for local nonprofits such as SRVS, Special Olympics, and the Civitan International Research Center. In 2024, their efforts helped distribute over $21,500 to these impactful programs.
Each of these organizations champions a cause close to our hearts, and we are honored to stand beside them as they create positive change in the lives of others.
